THE REMEDY at THOUGHT BUBBLE 2020

I am pleased to announce that my new comic, THE REMEDY, is available NOW, making its digital debut at the Thought Bubble 2020 Digital Con this November!

I've spent the last six months writing and producing this 30-page comic, which is easily the most ambitious, challenging and rewarding project I've ever undertaken, and I am so fortunate to be able to debut it at this event. While I am disappointed that, in light of the pandemic, the festival has to be online this year, I am still very excited about the guests and events that have been organized by the amazing TB2020 team.

"So, what in the heck is THE REMEDY!?" you may be asking. Well here's the pitch, friends:

On a post-cataclysm Earth, the remnants of humanity live out a mundane existence in an enormous floating city.

This bland utopia is thrown into chaos by six dream-like renegades who model themselves after art movements of the past and use art and technology to disrupt the system.

Detective Xander Slate is determined to find out who they are, what they want, and why they know so much about the mysterious death of his husband.

The trailer can be viewed at the top of this post, or HERE on Vimeo. And while I'm at it, here is the cover and a few sample pages:

The comic will be available as a high-resolution PDF  in two formats: traditional portrait comic spreads and landscape orientation (for computer screen/iPads). If you aren't able to make the show, you'll be able to purchase the comic from my Gumroad shop HERE.

Keen observers will notice that I've updated the SHOP, so you are now able to snag digital copies of old favourites like WOLF HANDS (co-created with JUSTIN HEGGS) as well as a new short story collection, THE SILO RUN AND OTHER STORIES, containing three stories I created during the first two semesters of my Masters Program. Here is a look at the cover:

I hope you'll join me online at TB2020! I'm hoping to schedule a workshop or interview or two to coincide with the  event and will keep you posted with updates. Take care!
